Brief History:

Clementi Central Ducks FC or affectionately known as CCD, was started in May 1997. We started off as a class soccer team of CTSS 2A1
(click here for our class photo) during the post mid year exams of that year. In those initial stages, we played our trade against other class
teams in our school. We also got our nickname, ‘Ducks’ soon after, due to some funny turn of events.

The end of the year soon came and despite being posted to different classes, the majority of us agreed to keep the team alive.
‘Multiple signings’ followed through. Talents from other classes, who were once former threats to us, were recruited to strengthen our team.
The word 2A1 was replaced by the words, Clementi Central (due to some obvious reasons), and hence came the name CCD.

Thereafter, we started playing teams thru contacts that we found on the net. Here came all the ‘exciting part’….our weekend matches either
brought us to some ulu public fields in Singapore or doing some ‘tactical movement’ into schools.  Enough is said here, I think.
The rest was well, history. Except for the period between Sept 2002 to May 2004, we were active in every other year, playing with teams
from various walks of life. Our goal for now is to keep the team going again, since most our guys’ NSF commitments are finally coming to
an end…. And by the way, we just turned seventh this month.
